Troop 702 for Girls and Boys

Troop 702 generally has at least one trip each month – camping, hiking, biking, skiing, etc. In the summer, we organize two different summer camps for the Scouts – and the adults.

We meet each week during the school year and work year-round on advancing through the Scouting ranks, earning merit badges, participating in community service projects and having fun.

Troop 702 is proud to accept boys and girls from Grade 6 and up.

Things We Do

We’re an active bunch! We meet every Thursday evening during the school year, but are often out and about on trips

  Camping

We go on several camping trips during the year. A few are into the Reading Town Forest, maybe we’ll go to the NH mountains, or biking on Cape Cod.

Summer Camp

We usually spend the second week in July going to summer camp at Hidden Valley as a a troop. Scouts choose merit badges to work on – lots are offered from shooting sports, welding, cooking, sailing, etc.

High Adventure Trips

In 2023 we will be going on two seperate High-Adventure Trips

Philmont Scout Ranch and Bar Ni Ranch

In 2025 we will be eligible to go to Sea Base
